Firstly...it's Spong, not Sponge. Spong as in rhyming with "long", or "strong" or yes, very funny...."pong".

I've always loved baking from a young age but the seeds of a business were sown in 2007 when I started baking for the W.I. market.

The following years saw me baking for several local cafes, supplying direct to the public and pitching up at various fetes, fairs and markets but my core business has always been supplying to cafes.

The challenges of 2020 have meant it's time to try something new but it'll be the same great cake and hopefully I'll have a chance to meet some of you in person!
